AppNation Selects Balanced Scorecard As Top Ten AppCircus Finalist

APPNATION is an ambitious and bold thought leadership conference and exposition focusing exclusively on the burgeoning consumer applications revolution and global app economy.

The second annual APPNATION event will be held April 27 – 28 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco and will feature speakers and exhibitors from leading companies from across the app economy including Digital Chocolate, Marvel Entertainment, Jumptap, Nielsen Mobile, RIM, Intel, Outfit7, Sequoia Capital, WIP, Fox Broadcasting, Greystripe, Norwest Venture Partners, Wall Street Journal and dozens of others.

Balanced Scorecard, an app designed to provide business leaders with comprehensive strategic planning assistance, was chosen as a top ten finalist in the App Pitch event. According to Eduardo Ferrin, Director of Marketing at Madrid-based Business Strategy Consultoria,

“This is a great honor to be chosen as a top ten finalist and it shows that hard work and attention to the mobile experience and user interface is a key success factor for creating useful enterprise apps.”

The modern version of the balanced scorecard system transforms an organization’s strategic plan from an attractive but passive document into the “marching orders” for the organization on a daily basis. It provides a framework that not only provides performance measurements, but helps business planners identify what should be done as well as what should be measured. It enables executives to truly execute their strategies.

In an earlier review of Balanced Scorcard by iPadCTO, they took specific notice about our interface – it is clean and well-designed. As also reported by iPadCTO,

“Typically, products of this genre (i.e., financial utilities developed by domain experts in this field) are clunky and difficult to use. It’s clear that BsC has paid close attention to design and usability requirements. Popup dialogs, icon elements, and the overall flow of the app is clean and concise – a pleasure to use.”

Balanced Scorecard is available in the App Store.
